Privacy Policy for DraftLC

We collect the following categories of personal information for defined business purposes:

• Identifiers: Including your name, email address, phone number, and IP address. We use this to create and secure your account, provide customer support, and communicate with you.
• Commercial Information: Including your subscription tier (e.g., Trial, Pro) and billing history. We use this to manage your subscription and process payments.
• Financial Information: Payment details such as credit card numbers are collected and processed securely by our third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe) and are not stored on our systems.
• Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Including log data, feature usage statistics (e.g., draft counts), and interaction with the Service. We use this to monitor and improve our platform's performance and user experience.
• Professional or Employment-related Information: Including your company name and job title, which you may voluntarily provide. We use this to better understand our user base.
• User-Generated Content: Trade finance documents you upload and the L/C drafts generated. These are used solely to provide the core functionality of the Service. Uploaded documents are processed in-memory and are not permanently stored on our servers.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Know and Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can download all your saved draft data from the 'Data & Privacy' tab in your Account Settings.
• Right to Delete (Erasure): You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. This can be done from the 'Data & Privacy' tab in your Account Settings. This action is irreversible.
• Right to Correct: You can access and update your personal profile information at any time through your Account Settings page.
• Right to Opt-out: You can opt-out of non-essential (marketing) communications by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by updating your notification preferences in your account settings.

DraftLC does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. As such, there is no need to opt-out of the sale of your data. We are committed to this principle.

• Trial users: Drafts are saved for 7 days.
• Standard users: Drafts are saved for 30 days.
• Pro users: Drafts are saved indefinitely.
• Uploaded documents are not stored on our servers and are discarded after processing.

We may update this policy from time to time, and will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We will notify you of significant changes.
